The VGA remake of King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown was created by AGD Interactive, as a remake of the graphics adventure designed by Roberta Williams and released by Sierra in 1984.
Conceived by the same people behind the King's Quest II and King's Quest III remakes, this fan-made recreation of the original Sierra title is built using the free engine Adventure Game Studio. It features VGA 256 color graphics (320x200 pixel screens), point and click interface, full narrator and character speech with lip-syncing. There is also an optional mode that solves some gameplay bugs that were present in the original release.
This is a must have for all the old school adventures lovers.
